Liked: Static caravan was lovely and clean and had everything I needed. The owners are very responsive to queries. The site has everything you could need for a really relaxing holiday. This wasn't my first visit and I'll definitely be back!

Liked: Campsite was easy to find due to the great directions given. On arrival picked up our pitch map as described & pitched up on our spacious hard standing. Site is exceptionally clean & tidy and was so peaceful. Wet room was very clean & tidy. Chose this site as I had a running race in Helston so location was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights in our camper van while travelling around Cornwall for 4 weeks. Easy to book online. On arrival no-one was at reception but our info was clearly laid out for us, so we easily found our pitch and set up. Within 10 minutes the owner passed and introduced himself and advised where everything was. Toilet and shower blocks were closed as it was out of season but 2 x family wet rooms were available. They were spotless and had all the necessary cleaning items in them to keep them tidy after you'd used them. The whole site is very well maintained. Really wide road so easy to reverse into pitches without churning up grass. Pitches are a great size. Everywhere is thick gravel so despite the rain we've had it was not muddy at all. Some lovely seasonal residents who were all chatty and pleasant. A field for dogs to run off lead just next to site. Indoor washing up area with a washing machine and dryer. £6 per wash and a £1 for 10 mins for the dryer. Pretty standard cost. You will need coins for the machines. Well lit site which is great for me. One of my pet hates as a female is a site thats pitch black, especially around toilet block. Just a warning that our phones had zero signal here [EE and Three network]. Didn't bother us as we had TV shows downloaded to watch. There was free WiFi was intermittent for us. Really wasn't an issue though, we would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful site Polladras is !! John and Rachael are great site owners that are very friendly and cant do enough to make sure your stay is as good as it can be . The staff are all lovely and the site well kept , it is a nice quiet site but conveniently situated between lots of small cornish villages . Many of the guests return time after time which is a great testament to the place x

We stayed here for 2 weeks end of July.
Location is perfect for exploring Cornwall within 40mins of most places. Perfect place to unwind after a day out. Great place for kids to play, games room, play equipment, trampoline and football pitch for them.
Caravan was spotless and you would struggle to tell it was a pet friendly van.
Plenty of storage, en suite in main bedroom. Everything you could need for a family holiday. Wi-Fi can be hit and miss but I believe it’s better without and have a digital detox. It’s holds up if you need to check emails, what’s app and scrolling Facebook but not for streaming, but your on holiday…get outside or take some games or a book it’s so much better. Staff are very friendly and always on hand if there was any issues. Laundry facilities great £6 for washing machine and £1 for 10mins in tumble if you need it. Although we didn’t use, the toilet and shower facilities on site for campers and tourers look clean and modern. 10 mins from helston where there is a Tesco, takeaways and local shops if you need. 10 mins to Porthleven great little harbour with a good choice of eateries and pubs. 25mins from Marazion ( st. Michael’s mount) dog friendly after 6pm everywhere or to the right of the stream before that. Visit the Tudor chippy for best fish and chips around.
Polladras ticks a lot of boxes and we have been coming here for almost 10 years now, we are planning next year already.

Lovely site

A lovely site, we stayed on the premium pitch number 1, which was great as it was hedged 3 sides so felt like you had your own space and was large so plently of room. Toilets and showers were always clean. Washing up and freezer facilities all good. Site well maintained. Good location for exploring this part of Cornwall we did lots of trips out to the Lizard peninsula loads of lovely places to see here, Porthleven and St Michael's mount all close reach by car some lovely walks to go on with the coastal path. Tesco only 15 min drive in Helston. We went before the school holidays and whilst we were there the site was lovely and quiet.

I would recommend and thank you.

Lovely Stay – Highly Recommend
This was my second time and had a great stay at Polladras Holiday Park with my family. It was peaceful, clean, and well looked after as last year. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole process was smooth. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.

Beautiful, quiet and well maintained site out in the countryside. A real little gem that you wouldn't know was there.
The owners are lovely and very helpful! We really enjoyed our stay, it was so relaxing and safe for the kids to potter about the site to the park etc.
Highly recommended and we'll be back again! 🙂

Great camp site

Fabulous, small, quiet and spotless. I'm not one for camping at all! I don't know how I was persuaded to do it but I have to say, camping here was a super experience. John and his wife (cannot recall her name) work so hard to keep the camp site spotless and peaceful. I would have preferred to have been within walking distance of a shop but that's me (I'm a townie!). The camp site itself could be better signposted but we found it, it really is in the countryside and in an area where you will lose your phone signal. Saw a number of children playing on the play ground and in the arcade (very tastefully done) but this is a small camp. If you're looking for something more than peace and quiet, try a well known holiday camp site type. We'd forgotten our electric lead and we were loaned one (thank you!) and we were not charged for our fire bucket. Fabulous camp site owners; very friendly and approachable.

Perfect getaway
Absolutely gorgeous little site, we came as 3 friends for a one night stay in the Skyview Bell Tent, to escape kids and life for a while we are fairly local but came across the site and thought it looked great, it exceeded our expectations. The unmanned check in works great, grabbed the paperwork and off we went, the tent itself was beautiful, so well thought out, I added a couple of birthday decs but it didn’t need it, really stunning bell tent. It also has 3 panels that you can pull back and see the stars, it rained at night and there is something so therapeutic about laying there looking at the sky and hearing the rain, bliss! The site is perfect for a getaway, it has all you need but also has a cosy feel which we loved, we will definitely be returning. I’d also like to say the service was impeccable, we had an issue with the electrics, one WhatsApp and about 3 minutes later and the lovely chap (rubbish with names sorry!) was there and sorted it. Can’t fault anything, really fabulous night, thank you! Jess, Jodie and Megan

This is a LOVELY little camp site, it has all the essential amenities (toilets, showers EHU and running water on or near each pitch) and is REALLY quiet, the small stream running at the back of the pitch we were on just added to the serenity of the place.
IT IS VERY BASIC!! But that is EXACTLY what we have loved about it so much.
The owners are REALLY friendly and eager to help wherever they can. We ended up adding an extra night while we were there just because we could and were loving the peace so much.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Wonderfully clean and maintained, this is a great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of life but close enough to places like st. Ives Porthleven, penzance etc. It is run by a lovely couple and they made christmas this year beautiful for us and all that stayed. Definitely worth a stay.

We have a seasonal pitch at this wonderful site. It is small and very peaceful. The place always feels very welcoming and is consistently well maintained, a tribute to Rachel and John who work very hard to look after the site and their guests.

Tranquility, clean and well run
We really loved this small site. The facilities were extremely clean and this was more that once a day! The checking in was easy and I liked this approach. I would recommend this site to people who enjoy a well run site that appreciates everyone's need to enjoy peace and quiet in a very friendly way!!

great place to stay
This camp site is excellent and quiet/ it is close to all Cornwall beauty spots but in a rural haven of its own-stayed with family and a dog-the caravan we stayed in-Sapphire- was marvellous/very clean tidy and comfortable-the owner was first rate to deal with-highly recommended-we would stay again without a moment's hesitation .

Heerlijke rustige camping, we stonden op een mooi veldje (pine field). Lekker beschut en toch nog wat uitzicht. Sanitair was schoon! Lekker douches voor de camping. Verder geen faciliteiten bijv winkeltje oid. Voor ons geen probleem.
Locatie is echt landelijk een stuk van de bewoonde wereld. Zeer vriendelijk personeel!!

Fantastic family park
I’ve stayed in one of the static caravans here four years in a row now. The accommodation is always clean and well presented and has everything you need already there. It’s also always been ready before the arrival time too which is great when you’ve travelled 400 miles with a young one. The site is clean and very well kept and has a fantastic family atmosphere about it. It’s pretty quiet and has a small park to keep the kids amused. My daughter always makes friends, has a great time playing and never wants to leave! Also perfectly located to explore southern Cornwall. No doubt I will be staying again next year.

Amazing camping holiday with friends
Our stay in this holiday park was perfect. John was very helpful. The park has it all we need. We end up staying together with my friends. I suggest you book direct so that if there’s any issues you can resolve with them with ease. The only suggestion is that maybe you can put a hairdryer on the male toilet, apart from that the park is perfect. And if you want to stay with your friend together you can ask John if they can put you in a pitch next to each other.

Perfect location
This is a perfect family holiday park. Facilities were all kept clean, there's a small play area and goals to play football etc and the site is well maintained. The location is great for exploring, we went to Kynance cove which was approx 30 minutes, Porthleven was about 12 minutes and Praa sands about the same. We didn't stay long but we will definitely be coming back to stay for longer. The self check in was very straight forward.

Excellent clean site, would highly recommend, perfect location if you want to explore Cornwall
Loved our stay here, toilets, showers, washing facilities all really clean, lovely park for kids with trampoline and football nets even had a big summer house arcade, but the best bit for us was how settled our anxious dog is, we had to move from a really busy site and she settled instantly all dogs on leads lovely designated dog walk area even an enclosed field for a good run, the site is friendly but also so quiet perfect combination, the location is ideal if u want to visit different places like we did, literally the only negative would be not being able to straighten your hair if you don’t select electric hook up, they had a hair dryer in the toilet block but nothing else, would highly recommend, the family that run the site are lovely, hard working and so accommodating

Great bell tent

Lovely little site
A lovely little and quiet campsite. The WiFi is excellent too so my husband was able to take meetings while away. You’re not far from praa sands it’s 13 minutes down the road. St Ives & carbis bay are about 30 minutes away. Would definitely come back.

Highly recommend the Skyview bell tent. 1. Comfy bed 2. Spacious 3. Close walk to amenities 4. Option to have the flaps closed for more intimate feel. 5. Really pretty interiors and brilliant value for money. This site has a very friendly atmosphere even with the rain the tent was brilliant.

Perfect family staycation
We booked the Skyview bell tent for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. We took our 7 month old and it was so much fun. The tent was the perfect size for the three of us plus the travel cot and we brought a ball pit for our baby. Perfectly clean, warm and seamless check in. The site itself has a very friendly atmosphere.
